2019 Guber: Udom Sinks Deeper... As A'Ibom FA Chairman Decamps To APC

As the waves of defection continue to hit Akwa Ibom State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP like tsunami, the State Chairman of Football Association, Mr. Emmanuel Ibah has joined the train with his formal dumping of PDP to embrace APC. 
Ibah's defection is said to be a major setback to the sinking fortune of Governor Udom Emmanuel and the PDP in the forthcoming general elections. 
The State FA Chairman, it was learnt, does not only command a great influence and followers in the football circle, but is well loved in other sports department, a development that could lead to total dumping of PDP by sports lovers. 
The Sensor learned that Ibah was a key supporter of Governor Udom Emmanuel and had before now been working seriously for the reelection of the governor of the State through Commissioner for Sports was ensured his elevation to the chairmanship of the State FA. 
Meanwhile, the chairman of Essien Udim APC caucus, Arc. Ubokutom Nyah has confirmed that Mr. Ibah will soon be received at the highest level of APC in Essien Udim. He expressed delight on the movement of his kinsmen to join the South-South leader of President Muhammadu Buhari reelection campaign and leader of APC in Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio in the election of Obong Nsima Ekere. 
In a related development, the Essien Udim APC caucus chairman, Arc. Ubokutom Nyah has disclosed that all the recently defected ward chairman in the local government have been appointed ward secretaries in the election committee in their various wards. A decision that makes them work alongside ward leaders and existing APC ward chairmen as leaders of the campaigns in each ward.
