Over 1,000 members of Okon Itam in Itu local government area and
environs, have availed themselves to the free medical services brought to them
by Amma4Africa-Nigeria, an arm of international non-governmental and non-profit
organization, Amma Resonance Healing Foundation, ARHF.
The weekend free medical services

infertility, injuries, amongst others. The event was witnessed by Human

Rev.Dr. Hilkiah Eliathar.
Speaking with newsmen shortly
after the health exercise, the leader of the medical team, Dr. Elton Akpabio, who
is also the representative of Amma4Africa-Nigeria, said the project targets the
poor who could not afford the cost of medication, stressing that malaria and
typhoid have devastated Africa causing millions of deaths.
“Amma4Africa-Nigeria is an NGO
which is part of the universal Amma Resonance Healing Foundation. We have it in
about 58 countries around the world. We offer free medical services to the poor
of the poor and to those who could not afford medical bills.
“We reach out to the locals who
are seriously affected, to those downtrodden in the society. We have seen
mostly in Africa that malaria and typhoid are disease conditions that seem to
have devastated the entire continent; millions are dying. Apart from World
Health Organization statistics, you discover that malaria kills more than
HIV/AIDS,” he said.
Akpabio said the ARHF chairman, Mr. Peter Chapel,
a Briton, had conducted a research from which he discovered a sort of medication
using resonance platform for the treatment of malaria, typhoid and other
infectious diseases. He said the medication is generated in a way that would
not bring any adverse effect to patients irrespective of age, gender, race, or
health condition.
He further said that the
registration of volunteers in Amma4Africa is free of financial charges but
stressed the situation whereby individuals would go about collecting money in
the name of the group adding that “we are not part of it.”
He further thanked the Human
Rights/Civil Society and Community-based organization, Akwa Ibom State for the
support while praying that peace experienced in the state is sustained.
On his part, the Human Rights/Civil Society and
Community-based organization in the state, Rev.Dr. Hilkiah Eliathar, who was in
company of his deputy, Dr. Lawrence Usip, expressed satisfaction over the
peaceful conduct of the free medical exercise saying the coalition is all out
to defend peace and unity in Akwa Ibom State.
“We come here to see one of our groups AMA4Africa organizing
free services, and the environment is so peaceful, so good, and no violence. We
came and meet the crowd of people. Over 1000 people registered for the
medication for the free services. What we even want to let them know is to
continue to look for peace, sustain peace and then do what is needful in the
general election that is coming in 2019,” he said.
Eliathar disclosed that the coalition has 25 amalgamated
groups standing to defend peace and unity in the state.

Apostolic Church, Okon Itam Assembly, Mr. Peter Johson, who also spoke with the

locality and specifically thanked Dr. Elton Akpabio for his passion to touch
