Uyo Airport Best In Nigeria – Say Foreign Blockchain Experts

Ibom International Airport in Uyo has been placed at the top of the pegging order in Nigeria’s aviation industry as a visiting Blockchain Technologist and Digital Asset dealer says it is the best in Nigeria.
During his interaction with The Sensor correspondent after the Blockchain Technology conference held in Uyo Monday, Mr. Pinakee Naik, a Cyprus-based digital money specialist who was born in the United Kingdom to Indian parents, described his experience in Uyo as fantastic while saying that the city’s airport is simply amazing.
“I was surprised at the airport; it is amazing. It is probably the best airport I’ve seen in the whole of Nigeria. The experience here has been just fantastic, and that’s how Uyo has been right from the beginning we came,” the digital money expert said.
Another foreign advocate of Blockchain technology, Mr. Fraser Douther who is from Cyprus, could not hide his admiration for the capital of Akwa Ibom State when he spoke with our correspondent Monday night.
“I came from Cyprus to talk about Blockchain technology here in Uyo. Indeed, Uyo has been very friendly. It is a beautiful place, very tropical” said the Cypriot.
Douther said that digital money has a bright future globally and that Blockchain technology would be changing the way money is being used all over the world.
He disclosed that with DasCoin which was launched into cryptoworld in March this year, there would be more security in transaction, and that effort has been made to go down the regulation route in order to make DasCoin one of the best cryptocurrencies. Douther pointed out that DasCoin Blockchain is being developed for smart contracts, and there is introduction of smart tab that would enable users spend cryptocurrency anywhere that accepts visa / master card.
Also speaking on cryptocurrency, Pinakee Naik said that the digital money is the most unbelievable thing that come along since the Industrial Revolution and would impact many people’s lives. He noted that the biggest advantage DasCoin has is that it could be connected to the Visa and Master Cards network through Daspay which is powered by Cartaworldwide, and there would soon be about 60 million retail platforms where DasCoin would be spendable. Naik called on Akwa Ibomites to embrace cryptocurrency as the world is moving towards digital way of using money.
Meanwhile, Mr. Udeme Rufus, a Digital Asset/Blockchain consultant in Uyo, recently, told The Sensor that the use of digital currencies would soon become a new norm. According to him, it is believed by the experts that cryptocurrency might wipe out the banks, although this remains to be seen.
