It Is All Over For PDP In Ukanafun – APC

The Akwa Ibom State Chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, has come out to declare tomorrow as the final day for the life of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, in Ukanafun local government area.
Taking to twitter earlier today, the @AkwaIbomAPC said twelve Chapter Executives, Ward Executives, former transition chairmen, former council chairmen, former councilors and thousands of their supporters will be joining APC in Ukanafun  to mark the end of the PDP in the area.

“PDP will be laid to rest tomorrow in Ukanafun LGA as 12 Chapter Executives, Ward Executives , former transition chairmen, former council chairmen, former councillors and thousands of their supporters set to join APC, “ the tweet reads.
It would  be  recalled that 12 former PDP chapter Chairmen under the umbrella of 12 Disciples-4-ONE moved with their followers recently to the APC, and were received at Obong Nsima Ekere’s campaign grounds in Uyo by the Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang and the APC deputy governorship candidate, Dr. Amadu Atai.

By UbongAbasi Ise Following the application by one of the representatives of the 5,000 sacked secondary school teachers, Mr. Ukeme Anwan, seeking a change of a sole witness in Suit CA/C/362/2018 brought before the Court of Appeal sitting in Calabar by the Akwa Ibom State Government, the state Attorney General, Barr. Uwemedimo Nwoko, was in court on 22nd October 2020 to oppose the application. The matter was adjourned to 24th November 2020 for decisions to be taken on motions. In a counter affidavit on 21st October 2020 deposed by Uduak Udo-Udo, a Litigation Officer in the Attorney General Chamber of the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Justice, the Appellants (Akwa Ibom State Government & 7 ors) rejected the replacement of the sole witness, Mr. Joshua Matthew Ayagwung, with Mr. Ukeme Anwan saying the name of a Respondent could not be replaced at this time The State Government and co claimed that Ukeme Anwan (The Deponent) does not have the consent of his colleagues nor the Respondents

This is the village where Mr. Udom Emmanuel, as Akwa Ibom State governor, is having his office. This village hosts the state judiciary headquarters, Police "A" Division, Nigerian Prisons, Fire Service, State Library headquarters, Uyo local government council, Anchor Insurance, Ibom Plaza, banks, and motley of business organizations.
