The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, was earlier joined by Vice President Femi Osinbajo and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomole to perform a brief Christmas carol rendition on Christmas Day.
In a footage posted on his twitter platform Tuesday morning, @Mbuhari  wished millions of Nigerians a happy Christmas in a special way while chorusing “we wish u a merry Christmas and a happy new”  to the delight of the viewers.

In an associated video caption, the President says Christmas is the period to reflect on the humble, symbolic and divine birth of Jesus Christ and the message of hope, compassion, salvation, reconciliation, forgiveness and peace that he conveys.
“At Christmas we reflect on the humble, symbolic and divine birth of a young child thousands of years ago in Bethlehem, Judea; and the message of hope, compassion, salvation, reconciliation, forgiveness and peace that Jesus Christ embodies and conveys.”
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari is expected in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Friday to flag off his electioneering campaign ahead of 2018 Presidential elections, and he is expected to be received by thousands of APC faithful and overwhelming number of Akwa Ibom citizens.
The good news is that Akwa Ibom State government has finally approved the use of Godswill Akpabio International Stadium for the reception of Mr. President and his team after initial turndown.
